Making Scrubs during the COVID-19 pandemic

During this pandemic I wanted to make use of my skills to help, in the small way that I can, by making laundry bags, fabric face coverings and scrubs for NHS, care staff and key workers.

With our sewing machines, scissors and a mixture of our own fabric along with lots of lovely donated sheets at the ready, my mother and I have had a little production line going in our conservatory!

It has been great to be involved with various community sewing hubs who distribute the finished items locally and directly to community health centres as it is our way of saying thank you to all the NHS, care staff and key workers who have been at the centre of the pandemic.
